They have partnered with MDA since 1985 and Quik Mart has helped raise over $300,000.00 for MDA and the fight against muscle disease.
From March 1st through March 21st, 39 local convenience stores participated in the nation’s largest St. Patrick’s Day fundraising program in which customers purchased an iconic paper MDA Shamrock (pinup) for just a $1, $5 or a larger contribution at check-out. Each Shamrock was signed by generous customers and prominently displayed in each store, symbolizing strength, independence and life for MDA families in the community.
